Why We Built It

We kept hearing the same thing from healthcare customers: “We love your chatbots, but we can not ship one to patients until the compliance story is airtight.”

The answer was not a separate product. It was a separate path inside the product. Medical Agents share the building blocks every other A2V2 chatbot has (knowledge bases, skills, tools, sub-agents, automations, CRM, sandbox testing) but layer compliance constructs on top:

A shared, organisation-level medicine catalog. Search, add, and curate the medications your team prescribes or references, and reuse the catalog across every Medical Agent your organisation runs.

Prescriptions Inside Contact Records

Open a contact, switch to the Prescriptions tab, and you have a full audit-friendly view of that patient's prescriptions. Create, edit, and manage in line with the rest of their record.

Document Extraction

Upload medical documents (lab reports, prescriptions, doctor's letters) and A2V2 extracts the structured data your team can review and ingest into the patient record. No more manual transcription.

Per-Field CRM Encryption

For sensitive fields (DOB, SSN, diagnosis codes, free-text clinical notes) flip a single switch in the Form Builder to enable field-level encryption. Encrypted values are stored using AES-256 with cloud-managed key infrastructure. Your team continues to see the data normally when authenticated.

HIPAA-Eligible Models, Curated

How to Get Started

1. Reach out. Email support@a2v2.ai or create your first Medical Agent inside the dashboard. Either action notifies our compliance team.

2. Sign the BAA. A member of the A2V2 team will walk you through the Business Associate Agreement personally and complete signing with you. One BAA covers every Medical Agent in your organisation.

3. Build. While the BAA is in progress, you can already configure and test your Medical Agent internally. Once the BAA is Active, you can deploy it publicly to your patients.

Frequently Asked Questions

General Agents are for any non-clinical use case like sales, support, and operations. Medical Agents add HIPAA-aware compliance, BAA gating, field-level encryption, HIPAA-eligible models only, and clinical domain modules for health parameters, medications, prescriptions, and document extraction.

You can build and test a Medical Agent internally without a BAA. But to deploy it publicly to patients, a signed BAA is required. One BAA covers every Medical Agent in your organisation.

Any field you mark as sensitive in the Form Builder gets AES-256 field-level encryption. This includes fields like DOB, SSN, diagnosis codes, and clinical notes. Your team sees the data normally when authenticated.

Medical Agents are limited to HIPAA-eligible models only. As of April 2026 this includes Claude Opus 4.6, Claude Sonnet 4.6, Claude Haiku 4.5, Gemini 2.5 Pro, Gemini 2.5 Flash, GLM-5, and open-source models like Llama and GPT-OSS.

No. General Agents are completely unaffected. Medical Agent is a separate agent type you create alongside your existing chatbots. They share the same platform building blocks but with compliance layers added on top.
